Janet Tarantino's study on how the soul indicates the awareness that their earthly life is nearing the end is intriguing and thought provoking. Death has fascinated Janet Tarantino, since she suffocated to death due to an allergy and saw God, Jesus, the nature of our spirit, and other spiritual beings. I guess you could say she felt a calling to care for her parents during their final trek toward our real home in heaven. When the time she rented her home and moved in with them to give them the 24-hour care they needed. This was the perfect opportunity to ask them to share with her everything they saw, felt, heard, or experienced. They knew since she was an NDEr she had witnessed miraculous things too. They knew she wouldn't automatically discount their visionary tales as hallucinations. She listened intently to what they confided in her, she took notes and received their permission to share whatever she felt would be helpful to others. Here is some of what I learned.
